Directions to VA-AAP (Bookbindery Building)
From the North:
I-95 South to the Boulevard Exit. Go right at the light on to the Boulevard. Staying in the left lane after you make the turn, drive approximately 1.1 miles to West Broad Street. Turn left on West Broad Street (going east). Drive through 4 traffic lights. You will make an immediate right turn into the red brick parking deck, which is next to Karen’s Diner. You will need to enter the building via the main street entrance next to the parking deck.
From the West:
I-64 East to I-95 South. Take the Boulevard exit. Then follow directions above (From the North)
From the South:
I-95 North to the Boulevard exit. Take a left at the end of the exit ramp on to Hermitage Road. Follow Hermitage Road to West Broad Street. Take a right turn on to West Broad. Go through 2 stoplights, and make a “U” turn in front of Karen’s Diner. Take an immediate right turn into the red brick parking deck.
From the East:
I-64 West to I-95 North, take the Boulevard Exit. Then follow directions above (From the South)
NOTE: There are other I-64/I-95 exits that will take you to Broad Street. Certainly you can use these exits, but the above directions offer fewer traffic lights on Broad Street. Broad Street is divided into the East Broad and West Broad sections at Foushee Street.
ALTERNATE DIRECTIONS FROM THE SOUTH:
From I-95, take the Chippenham exit. Take Chippenham to the Powhite Parkway. After going through the tollbooth (.50), stay to the right. Immediately after you cross the bridge, bear right for the Downtown Expressway. Take the first exit, which is the Boulevard Exit. Proceed straight after you come off the exit. When you come to the stop sign you will see a ballpark directly in front of you. This is Byrd Park. Turn left at the ballpark, and turn right at the next corner (there will be a stop sign). You will drive about one-half block and there will be a red light. Turn left on the Boulevard. Proceed on the Boulevard until you reach West Broad Street, turn right on West Broad. You will go through 3 or 4 traffic lights. Look for Karen’s Diner on the right. Make an immediately right turn into the red brick parking deck. This parking deck is the parking deck for The Book Bindery Building, 2201 W. Broad Street. Come in through the street entrance of the building.
